Today Y2 pupils found their own “Boom” and made the Drum kit sound without playing it. Everyone could do it when Mrs Baker showed them how to do it. At first we thought it was magic. When we all played together the Drum Kit echo was longer!

Here we see another one of our brilliant drummers in year 2 accompanying Katie in year 13 as she learns a very difficult Bass solo to an unusual Flamenco backing. Our year 2 student also featured performing his rendition of a drum part to the Rockschool grade 4 piece ‘Noisy Neighbour’. Great music!

Great morning of drumming at Dixons Music Primary. Here we have another fabulous year 2 drummer playing along to one of the Rockschool grade 4 drum pieces ‘Attitude’. He will be playing this with another year 2 student at the DMP concert in December!
