Dance

 

 

Themed Dance tuition as a vehicle for learning specific aspects of traditional and contemporary dance.  Themes include:  Disney Dance, Urban Dance, Stage and Theatre Dance

Students also learn skills in choreography and are encouraged to create their own dance sequences to music of their choice

After or Pre School

Or as one off projects

Early Years/ Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2.

Students must be grouped as follows:

Early Years/ Foundation Stage

Key Stage 1

Key Stage 2

1 tutor per 25 students

1 hour per week

Or as one off projects

Large teaching space, e.g. the Hall or large classroom

Drama

 

 

Students learn performing arts skills in the area of dramatic production with the emphasis on: 

  • Characterisation
  • Improvisation
  • Script Writing
  • Theatre Direction
  • Story telling
  • Drama games
  • Vocal Skills
  • Interpretative skills
  • Stage production
  • Vocal production

After or Pre School

Or as one off projects

1 hour per week

Large teaching space, e.g. the Hall or large classroom

Musical Theatre

Combined Dance/ Drama and Vocal work towards staging well known Musical Theatre productions

 

 

After School or as one off special projects

Key Stage 1 and 2

2 or 3 tutors at any one time depending on the number of students involved

Every week for 1- 2 hours

2 to 3 large teaching spaces depending on the number of students involved
