We will contact parents to advise whether children are ready to take their next Rockschool grade exam for the Summer 2019 exam session.
The closing date is 1 April and the Summer exam session runs 1 May to 31 July 2019.

Following the success of last years Drum Masterclass, Dr Alison Smith with be presenting another Drum Masterclass at Learn to rock’s Ilkley venue: Burley Oaks Primary School.
Alison will be working with students aged 4 to 18 and with her colleagues to demonstrate how and what children learn in all areas of their Drum studies at Learn to Rock.
Alison will explain how learning takes place and how curriculum learning is supported through the Drum work.
The Learn to Rock students will be performing solos, duets, trios and of course the fantastic showcase Drum Groups which Alison and her colleagues rehearse each week.

Due to this event being highly popular seats were allocated very quickly last year. Please do request your tickets early so as to avoid disappointment.

This is our fantastic annual Summer Showcase performance.
Come and see the most gifted students performing a range of instruments: Piano/ Drumkit/ Guitars and Vocals.
We will have musical items from our 6 to 18 year olds.
Solos, duets, trios plus our amazing Bands and Drum Groups.
Admission is free but you will require a ticket to be admitted.

Tim Walker (Manager and Studio Engineer from Voltage Studios, Bradford) is coming to work with a selection of the Ilkley Learn to Rock Drum students to direct and produce and range of professionally recorded and edited Music Videos.
Watch this space during August for the release of the videos showing off our amazingly outstanding drum students.
