Cancellation or rearrangement of lessons

In order to continue to provide an excellent service for parents and students I am writing to remind parents of the Learn to Rock policy relating to the cancellation or rearrangement of lessons.

Lesson Cancellation Due to Illness

If your child is ill on the day of his/her lesson or you need to cancel a lesson or please contact the Learn to Rock office directly.

Schools are not obliged to pass on this information now in line with the new GDPR laws.

We will try to make up lessons but please do note that we are heavily booked and make up lessons may be made up if we can but it may be with another tutor.

School Excursions/ Trips

If your child is on a school trip and you are aware of this ahead of time, in order to have the lesson re-organised, it is the parent’s and the not the school’s responsibility to advise of us of this by email.

If we have received at least 48 hours notice we will re-arrange the lesson for the student.

If we do not receive notice from parents we are not obliged to make the lesson up.

Please note any rearranged lesson may be with a different tutor.

Lesson Reorganisation

If you need to reorganise your child’s lesson for any other reason we do ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice directly to the Learn to Rock office.

We will always guarantee a rearranged lesson if we have had 48 hours notice.

Please note any rearranged lesson may be with a different tutor.

If the situation arises where you need to reorganise your child’s lesson for any of the above reasons please contact the Learn to Rock office directly: 01944 768724 or our constant contact number is 07852 591149 or email us:  admin@learntorock.co.uk

I politely ask that parents do not contact tutors directly in any situation to cancel or rearrange lessons.

If parents contact us directly we can immediately get messages to the tutors.

The timetables are managed centrally and there will be considerably fewer mistakes and clashes arising as a result of contacting us directly.

I hope that we can provide an effective service for cancelling or reorganising lessons as a result of the procedures set out above.

Many thanks for your continued support and we look forward to continuing to work with your child.
