Year 7 drum work : paradiddles !

It’s that paradiddle time of year with one of my fabulous Year 7 students.
A great technique that sounds funky used as part of a groove and useful in terms of speed and manoeuvrability in terms of fills.
This student is very gifted all round as a drummer and he has really got this technique down now ……from today we will be increasing speed and dexterity.
So what’s it all about?
Instead of RLRL RLRL sticking you use RLRR LRLL.
